Rush49 also has a competitive edge when it comes to serving the local businesses we feature. The expectations from other deal sites is that merchants will offer 50 % discounts on their services, in addition to a 50% revenue split with the daily deal site. We’re talking big losses at the merchants expense. Rush49 is doing things differently and changing up the deals space by creating value for both customers and businesses. We achieve this by halving commission splits and revenue share percentages.
Our generous commission splits stem from the founder, Kumar, who comes from a small business background. Kumar, having launched successful eateries and grocers near USC, learned firsthand how slim the profit margins are for restaurants, and how partnering with a daily deal sight can actually hurt business.
